TL;DR
HighLevel launched 32 public REST endpoints and two OAuth scopes for the Affiliate Manager. Developers and agencies can now automate affiliate data via Marketplace apps or Private Integration tokens.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which plans or roles are affected by this update. Agencies and developers building custom integrations, Marketplace apps, or automated partner pipelines will care. Agencies that do not use the Affiliate Manager or external API connections can ignore it.
What changed
- Released 32 public REST endpoints (28 new and 4 improved) covering Affiliates, Campaigns, Commissions, Payouts, Payout Methods, Referred Customers/Leads, and Affiliate Media.
- Added endpoints under
/affiliate-managerto create affiliates, update affiliates, set referral IDs, and move affiliates between campaigns. - Added endpoints to record commissions, manage commissions, and retrieve payout data.
- Introduced two new v3 OAuth 2.0 scopes:
affiliate-manager.readonlyandaffiliate-manager.write. - Enabled access through Marketplace apps or Private Integration tokens without in-app setup.
HighLevel has not confirmed plan gating, usage limits, or rollout status for these endpoints.
Where to find it
HighLevel has not published an in-app location for this update.
Developers access these capabilities programmatically via the /affiliate-manager REST API path using Private Integration tokens or v3 OAuth 2.0 scopes in Marketplace apps.
How agencies will use this
An agency managing partner programs can now link external onboarding tools directly to a sub-account. A developer can use a Private Integration token to programmatically create an affiliate, assign a specific referral ID, and place the affiliate into a target campaign. When conversion events occur, the integration calls /affiliate-manager endpoints to record commissions and fetch payout data without logging into the HighLevel dashboard.
Our take
This is a major update for developers, even if regular sub-account users will never see it. Opening 32 endpoints removes the need to manually update affiliates, adjust campaigns, or export payout data in the interface. If your agency does not build custom API tools or connect external systems to HighLevel, you do not need to do anything this week.
