Google Sheets Workflow Triggers Added to HighLevel
TL;DR
HighLevel added four native Google Sheets workflow triggers, designated as Premium features subject to usage charges.

TL;DR
HighLevel added four native Google Sheets triggers to the workflow builder covering new files, rows, cell edits, and tabs. You only need to act if you want to trigger automations directly from spreadsheets and accept the associated premium usage charges.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which plans or user tiers are specifically affected.
Agencies and operators who ingest data or trigger client automations from Google Sheets will care. If your workflows do not rely on spreadsheet data, you can safely ignore this.
What changed
HighLevel added four new triggers and placed them under premium billing:
- Added a "New spreadsheet" workflow trigger that fires when a file is created in a selected Google Drive.
- Added a "New spreadsheet row" workflow trigger that fires when a row is appended to a selected sheet or tab.
- Added an "Updated spreadsheet row" workflow trigger that fires when an existing cell is modified.
- Added a "New worksheet" workflow trigger that fires when a new tab is added to a spreadsheet.
- Marked Google Sheets triggers as Premium in the workflow builder, making them subject to premium usage charges.
HighLevel has not confirmed rollout status, plan-level gating, or whether existing features are replaced or broken.
Where to find it
In your sub-account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.
Create or open a workflow and click to add a trigger. The Google Sheets triggers appear in the trigger menu, flagged with a Premium badge.
How agencies will use this
An agency can manage intake or lead tracking inside a shared Google Sheet and push changes directly into HighLevel automations.
When a team member or integration appends a row to a selected sheet, the "New spreadsheet row" trigger fires inside a sub-account workflow. The workflow immediately runs downstream actions for that contact. If a team member later modifies an existing cell in that row, such as changing an onboarding status, the "Updated spreadsheet row" trigger can execute a follow-up workflow without manual intervention or third-party middleware.
Our take
This is a major functional update for workflow architecture. Spreadsheet triggers eliminate the need to run intermediary webhook relays just to listen for new rows or cell edits.
The catch is the billing model. HighLevel designated these triggers as Premium, which brings usage charges. Check your trigger volume before shifting existing external automations over to native Google Sheets triggers.
