Slack Integration Adds 5 Premium Workflow Triggers
TL;DR
HighLevel has added five Premium Slack triggers to workflows, letting automations run on messages, mentions, and reactions.

TL;DR
HighLevel added five Premium Slack triggers to the workflow builder covering messages, mentions, invites, and reactions. You do not need to take action unless you want to trigger workflows directly from Slack events.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed specific plan gating or which user tiers are affected. Agencies and sub-accounts using or planning to use Slack alongside workflow automations will see these new options. If you do not connect Slack, you can ignore this update.
What changed
HighLevel expanded the Slack workflow integration with the following updates:
- Added five new Slack triggers designated as Premium triggers.
- Enabled the New direct message trigger, which runs when a direct message is sent to the Slack app.
- Enabled the User invited to channel trigger, which runs when a user joins or is invited to a selected channel.
- Enabled the New mention trigger, which runs when the Slack app is @-mentioned in an added channel.
- Enabled the New message posted to channel trigger, which runs when a message is posted to a selected public or private channel.
- Enabled the New reaction added trigger, which runs when an emoji reaction is added to a message in a selected channel.
- Allowed channel selection across both public and private channels visible to the connected Slack account.
HighLevel has not confirmed specific usage limits or whether existing features are replaced or broken. Rollout status across accounts has not been confirmed.
Where to find it
In your sub-account, navigate to Automation > Workflows. Open an existing workflow or create a new one, click to add a trigger, and select the Slack triggers from the trigger panel.
How agencies will use this
An agency can create a workflow in a sub-account triggered by the New mention trigger or New message posted to channel trigger. When an internal user @-mentions the Slack app or posts an update in a designated private or public channel, the workflow fires immediately. Teams can also configure the New reaction added trigger on a channel message to initiate subsequent workflow actions whenever an emoji reaction is applied.
Our take
This is a standard integration update. It saves you from setting up separate webhook workarounds if you rely heavily on Slack for internal team notifications or channel-based collaboration. If you do not use Slack in your operations, this change is minor and can be skipped.
