Workflow Maps Adds Guided Onboarding and Resources Hub
TL;DR
HighLevel has added guided onboarding, contextual task walkthroughs, and a Help resources hub inside Workflow Maps.

TL;DR
HighLevel added guided onboarding, contextual task prompts, and a resource hub to Workflow Maps. No action is required unless your team uses Workflow Maps to visualize automations.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which plan tiers or user permissions are affected. Any agency user or team member navigating Workflow Maps inside a sub-account will have access to these onboarding prompts and help resources.
What changed
- Added a guided onboarding flow for first-time visitors to Workflow Maps, featuring an introductory step with a choice between 2D and 3D visual views.
- Added contextual prompts and step-by-step walkthroughs covering common tasks: reviewing errors, tracing contacts across flows, inspecting folders, checking asset usage, and filtering the map.
- Added a dedicated Resources hub inside Workflow Maps, opened via the Help button, containing search functionality, a Cheatsheet, a Supported assets guide, and FAQs.
HighLevel has not published details on plan limits, gating, or whether this replaces any existing interface elements.
Where to find it
Navigate to Automation > Workflows > Workflow Maps.
The onboarding flow appears automatically on your first visit to the map view. The Resources hub can be opened at any time by clicking the Help button within the Workflow Maps screen.
How agencies will use this
An agency operator auditing a client sub-account can open Workflow Maps and select the 2D or 3D view to inspect the structure. When troubleshooting a failed automation run, they can use the contextual walkthrough to trace contacts or pinpoint execution errors directly on the visual canvas. Junior team members learning how an agency organizes workflow folders and asset dependencies can open the Help button to consult the Cheatsheet and supported assets list without leaving the builder.
Our take
This is a minor usability update. It does not add new automation logic, triggers, or backend capabilities. If your team already knows how to navigate Workflow Maps, you can skip the onboarding entirely. The main value is slightly easier onboarding for new staff and quicker access to troubleshooting tools like contact tracing.
