RCS Messaging Enters Labs with In-Platform Sender Registration
TL;DR
HighLevel has added RCS messaging to Labs, introducing native sender registration, rich media carousels, and workflow automation.

TL;DR
HighLevel has launched RCS messaging in Labs, adding native sender verification and interactive card formats. You need to manually enable the feature in Labs if you want to register senders and test it.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which specific plan tiers or account types are eligible. The feature can be enabled at both the agency and sub-account level inside Labs.
What changed
RCS Messaging is now accessible via Labs for agency and sub-account enablement.
An in-platform guided registration flow has been added for RCS senders, covering brand identity, country selection, sender details, and US verification.
Senders can now track their registration status and add test devices directly within the platform.
Support was introduced for branded messaging displaying business names and logos.
Media capabilities now include rich cards, carousels, interactive buttons, and suggested replies.
RCS functionality has been integrated directly into 1:1 Conversations, Bulk Messaging, Workflows, and dedicated RCS Templates.
Limits, plan gating, and the full rollout timeline have not been confirmed by HighLevel.
Where to find it
To enable the feature, navigate to Agency Settings → Labs. Once enabled, manage sender onboarding, test devices, and setup under Settings → Phone System → RCS Messaging.
How agencies will use this
An agency operator enables RCS inside Agency Settings → Labs, then opens a specific client sub-account to begin sender onboarding under Settings → Phone System → RCS Messaging. They enter the business details, upload the brand logo, submit the US verification information, and link a test device to preview the output.
Once approved, the team creates an RCS Template containing a rich card carousel and interactive suggested reply buttons. They drop that template into a customer follow-up Workflow to run automated outreach, review outbound messages in Bulk Messaging, and handle replies directly from the unified 1:1 Conversations window.
Our take
This is a major addition to HighLevel's native phone system, bringing branded sender IDs and interactive elements that standard SMS cannot support. Because it is currently in Labs and registration limits or costs have not been confirmed, do not tear down existing SMS setups today. Use the test device support to run early proofs of concept, complete brand verification early, and see how the templates render before rolling this out to clients.
