Role-Based Dashboard Layouts and Custom Widgets in HighLevel
TL;DR
HighLevel sub-accounts can run multiple distinct dashboards with role-based permissions and custom widgets.

TL;DR
Sub-accounts can now run multiple distinct dashboards with access restricted by user role. Review your dashboard layouts if you need to separate admin metrics from sales views.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which specific tiers or account types this affects. Any operator managing different team roles inside a sub-account should take note.
What changed
HighLevel highlighted several capabilities for sub-account reporting:
- Users can create multiple distinct dashboards within a single sub-account.
- Dashboard access permissions can be configured based on user roles, including admin-only or sales team access.
- Custom widgets can be added for sales, revenue, lead tracking, and Meta Ads.
- Admins can toggle between different dashboards directly in the interface.
HighLevel has not confirmed plan gating, account limits, or whether this is fully rolled out to all users.
Where to find it
This functionality lives under Dashboards inside the sub-account. HighLevel has not confirmed further detailed click paths for configuring the role permissions.
How agencies will use this
An agency setting up a client sub-account can create two separate dashboards instead of relying on a single shared view.
The agency admin configures one dashboard restricted to admin access, adding widgets for overall revenue and Meta Ads performance.
Next, the admin creates a second dashboard configured for sales team access, adding widgets focused strictly on lead tracking and sales.
Admins can toggle between both dashboards within the sub-account to audit both views, while sales reps see only the operational data relevant to their role.
Our take
This is a standard functional update.
If your sub-accounts have multiple team members who should not see high-level financial or ad spend data, take twenty minutes to split your dashboards by role.
If you run solo or do not have team role separation inside your sub-accounts, you can safely ignore it.
