TL;DR
HighLevel added an Add-ons feature to Rentals, allowing admins and customers to attach paid extras to rental bookings.

TL;DR
HighLevel added an Add-on catalog to Rentals, allowing customers and admins to attach paid extras to bookings. Review your calendar configuration if your sub-accounts manage rental listings.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which specific plan tiers or sub-account types have access to this update. Agencies running rental listings or equipment booking setups inside calendars are the primary audience. Those not using rental calendars can ignore it.
What changed
- Added a global Add-on catalog in Calendars settings allowing creation of reusable items with a name, description, image, pricing type, max quantity, and tax settings.
- Introduced pricing options for add-ons, including flat amounts (per booking or per booking unit) and percentage calculations based on the base rental subtotal.
- Enabled attaching add-ons to listings from either the global catalog or an individual listing's Add-ons tab.
- Added an Add-ons section to the customer booking widget showing images, descriptions, pricing, and quantity controls.
- Added a "Hide from booking page" toggle to restrict specific add-ons to admin use only.
- Allowed admins to add, remove, or modify add-on quantities on existing bookings from the booking edit screen.
- Added independent per-add-on tax configuration, displayed as separate line items on generated invoices.
- Plan gating, breaking changes, and rollout status have not been confirmed by HighLevel.
Where to find it
Navigate to Calendars → Calendar Settings → Rentals → Add-ons to manage the global catalog. You can also configure individual items inside the Add-ons tab of any specific listing.
How agencies will use this
An agency configuring a rental sub-account can populate the Add-on catalog with recurring options, such as cleaning fees, damage waivers, or extra equipment. Admins can configure these items as flat fees or as percentages of the base rental subtotal, then link them to specific calendar listings. End customers see these options in the booking widget with images and quantity controls before checkout. If a client needs adjustments after placing a reservation, an admin can open the booking edit screen to adjust quantities, remove items, or manually add restricted items that were hidden from the public booking page.
Our take
This is a solid addition for anyone actually using HighLevel's rental calendar features. Before this, billing for extras or service fees alongside rentals required custom workarounds. If your agency does not manage equipment, space, or property bookings, this will not change your day-to-day operations.
