Add Retail Products to Service Appointments in HighLevel
TL;DR
HighLevel users can now add catalog products and variants directly to service appointments with automated inventory adjustments and unified billing.

TL;DR
You can now attach retail products to service appointments inside HighLevel with automatic inventory sync and unified payments. Check your in-app appointment modal if your clients sell physical goods alongside booked services.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which specific plans or account tiers this applies to, or if any sub-account permission gating exists. It directly impacts operators and staff who manage service appointments and sell retail items.
What changed
- Users can add retail products and variants from their catalog to new or existing service appointments via the in-app appointment modal.
- Users can set product quantities and override unit prices for an individual appointment without altering the base catalog pricing.
- Products appear alongside services in the appointment details and within the Payments tab with a unified total.
- Modifying products after an initial payment automatically updates appointment payment statuses to reflect whether additional payment is due or a refund is owed.
- Inventory tracking decrements stock when items are added and increments stock when removed or reduced, triggering an error if stock is insufficient.
- Retail products can only be added through the internal appointment modal and do not appear on customer-facing booking pages.
- HighLevel has not confirmed the rollout status or whether this breaks or replaces existing legacy features.
Where to find it
Base catalog items are managed under Payments > Products. To attach products to bookings, open the in-app appointment modal for a new or existing appointment.
How agencies will use this
Agencies configuring a client sub-account can load physical merchandise and variants into the product catalog. When a customer finishes an appointment, staff open the appointment modal inside the sub-account calendar to add purchased retail products to the ticket. The staff member can adjust quantities or override the unit price on the spot without altering the master catalog. The platform automatically decrements stock, blocks the sale if inventory is empty, and updates the balance in the Payments tab to show the unified total or handle additional payment collection.
Our take
This is a major operational update for service businesses that sell physical goods on site. Because products do not appear on public booking pages, this is purely an internal tool for staff at checkout. If your clients juggle separate systems for service bookings and retail stock, you should test this workflow inside their sub-accounts.
