Link Contacts to Multiple Companies in HighLevel
TL;DR
HighLevel now supports linking a single contact to multiple companies using custom association labels in Labs.

TL;DR
You can now link one contact to multiple companies using custom association labels in Labs. Turn it on in Labs if your contacts represent multiple businesses.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which user tiers or plan levels are affected. Anyone managing contacts tied to more than one business will find this relevant, but specific account gating has not been published.
What changed
- Users can enable Association Labels and Multiple Companies for Contacts in Labs.
- You can create custom association labels between Contacts and Companies with a Many Companies relationship.
- Contacts can be linked to multiple Companies from the Contact record or from the Company's Associations tab.
- Primary Company remains an uneditable system label linking one Company per Contact.
- Domain name automation, business name automation, and Company merge fields continue to use the Primary Company.
- Rollout status, plan gating, and limits have not been confirmed by HighLevel.
Where to find it
Enable the feature under Labs first. Once active, go to Settings > Objects > Companies > Associations to configure the labels. To manage the actual links, open a Contact record or go to the Associations tab inside any Company record.
How agencies will use this
An agency working with fractional executives, contractors, or multi-brand owners can now link one contact record to every company they represent. The user opens the Contact record, assigns the custom association label set to a Many Companies relationship, and attaches each Company. The agency keeps one designated Primary Company on the Contact record so that automated business name logic, domain name automation, and Company merge fields continue working without broken variables.
Our take
This is marked as a major update and addresses a longstanding CRM constraint. HighLevel previously forced you to pick a single company or create duplicate contacts. The main catch right now is that merge fields and automations still fall back exclusively to the Primary Company, so secondary associations are strictly for record-keeping until automation support expands.
