Mobile View Controls Added to HighLevel Email Builder
TL;DR
HighLevel has added mobile-specific styling controls to its Email Builder, allowing overrides for spacing, media, and buttons.

TL;DR
HighLevel added mobile-specific styling overrides to the Email Builder. You do not need to rewrite existing templates, as mobile settings inherit desktop values until adjusted manually.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed specific plan gating or user permissions for this update. Anyone who designs or edits templates in the Email Builder across client sub-accounts will have access to the controls if the feature has reached their account.
What changed
- Added a device selector switch between Desktop and Mobile within supported styling sections in the Email Builder.
- Enabled mobile-specific padding and margin adjustments for sections and supported elements.
- Added mobile controls for button alignment, spacing, typography, and a full-width toggle.
- Added mobile controls for images, logos, and videos, including alignment, dimensions, padding, and aspect-ratio locking.
- Added mobile alignment, sizing, and spacing controls for social icons.
- Configured mobile settings to automatically inherit desktop values until you change them manually.
HighLevel has not confirmed rollout status, plan gating, or whether this replaces or breaks existing legacy email styling behavior.
Where to find it
Go to Marketing > Emails > Design Editor > Style. The device selector switch appears inside the supported styling sections.
How agencies will use this
When preparing an email template inside a client sub-account, an operator can build the layout on desktop first. Switching the device selector to Mobile then allows targeted edits without altering the desktop layout.
For example, you can switch button settings to full-width and adjust typography sizing so call-to-action buttons render cleanly on phones. You can also lock aspect ratios on logos or videos and reduce section margins to eliminate excessive whitespace on smaller screens before saving the template for your workflows.
Our take
This is a standard quality-of-life improvement. Email builders should have independent mobile styling controls by default, so HighLevel is simply catching up to standard email design tools here.
Because mobile settings inherit desktop values automatically, you do not need to rush out and audit existing templates this week. Use the controls on your next template build when you need tighter control over mobile formatting.
