Automatic Company Creation and Association by Email Domain Is Live
TL;DR
HighLevel now automatically creates, enriches, and associates Companies based on a Contact's email domain across all sub-accounts.

TL;DR
HighLevel now automatically links Contacts to Companies based on email domains, complete with company enrichment. Existing agencies must manually turn it on, while new agencies get it enabled by default.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed specific user plans or role restrictions, but the feature is available across all sub-accounts. Existing agencies must have an admin turn it on, whereas new agencies will see it enabled by default.
What changed
- Domain-based Company automation moved out of Labs and is now available across all sub-accounts.
- The feature is enabled by default for new agencies, but remains off by default for existing agencies until an admin enables it.
- Contacts are automatically associated with Companies matching their email domain upon Contact creation or when an email changes.
- If no matching Company exists, HighLevel creates one automatically and enriches it with a domain, name, and logo.
- A unique Company Domain Name field has been added, configured for one domain per Company.
- Free email providers such as Gmail and Yahoo are excluded by default, and admins can add custom domain exclusions.
- Settings are available to backfill domains for existing Companies and run the association automation on existing Contacts.
- HighLevel has not confirmed plan gating, specific usage limits, what this replaces or breaks, or further rollout details.
Where to find it
Go to Settings > Objects > Companies inside your sub-account to find the settings, domain exclusion lists, and backfill options.
How agencies will use this
An agency operator can navigate to Settings > Objects > Companies inside a client's sub-account to enable the feature and add custom domain exclusions. When a new Contact is created with a corporate email, HighLevel checks the email domain against existing Companies. If no record exists, the system automatically creates a Company record, populates the name, logo, and domain, and ties the Contact to it. Admins can then run the built-in backfill tool to clean up existing Contacts and associate them with existing Companies across the CRM.
Our take
This is a major update for anyone running B2B sub-accounts. Managing relationships at the company level previously required manual data entry or workarounds to associate colleagues from the same firm. Note that existing agencies will not see this working out of the box; you must manually enable it in your sub-account settings.
