Verify Email Addresses During Contact Import in HighLevel
TL;DR
HighLevel now lets you verify email addresses directly during contact import, monitor progress in Bulk Actions, and filter by validity.
TL;DR
HighLevel added an email verification toggle directly to the contact import process. You do not need to take action unless you are importing contacts.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed who is affected or whether this feature is gated by specific plans or permissions. Anyone importing contact lists should notice the change.
What changed
- Added a checkbox on the final step of Contact Import to enable email verification for imported contacts.
- Enabled email verification tracking under Bulk Actions with status indicators for Processing and Completed.
- Added an Email Verification Status filter on the Contacts page to filter contacts by validity.
HighLevel has not confirmed rollout status, limits, plan gating, or whether this replaces existing functionality.
Where to find it
Find the checkbox inside Contacts > Import Contacts on the final step of the import flow.
Track the verification job under Bulk Actions to see whether the status is Processing or Completed.
Filter the results on the main Contacts page using the Email Verification Status filter.
How agencies will use this
An operator importing a new list into a client sub-account checks the verification box on the final import screen. Once submitted, the operator monitors Bulk Actions until the status moves from Processing to Completed. The operator then goes to the Contacts page, applies the Email Verification Status filter to view contacts by validity, and keeps invalid addresses out of active email workflows.
Our take
This is a standard, minor update. It saves a few manual steps if you import lists regularly, but it will not alter your core agency operations. If your lists are already verified, you can ignore it.
