New: In-Course Announcements Keep Learners Engaged!

What changed

Go HighLevel has introduced a new 'Announcements' feature for courses. Course creators can now create, edit, clone, and delete announcements directly from the Courses admin. These announcements support rich content, including formatted text, images, and links. You can target announcements to specific courses or across all courses, and choose to send them as optional email notifications to course members. Learners will see new announcements through banners, unread indicators, and a dedicated announcement section within their learning experience.

Why it matters

This update provides a centralized and native way to communicate with your course learners directly where they are studying. It reduces reliance on external email campaigns for important updates, launches, reminders, or notices. For agency owners and SaaS entrepreneurs, this means better engagement and retention for your clients' or your own educational content. Learners can stay informed without their learning experience being disrupted.

How to use it

Navigate to Courses → Announcements within your Go HighLevel account. Click to create a new announcement. Add a title and utilize the rich content editor to craft your message. Select the specific courses or learners you wish to target with the announcement. Optionally, enable email notifications if you want course members to receive the announcement via email as well. Publish your announcement, and learners will then discover it through various indicators within their course interface.
