Forms, Surveys, Quizzes Now Have Schedule Availability

TL;DR

HighLevel has introduced a new 'Schedule visibility' setting for Forms, Surveys, and Quizzes, allowing users to configure open and close times with custom experiences.

Forms, Surveys, Quizzes Now Have Schedule Availability

TL;DR

Forms, Surveys, and Quizzes now have scheduling. You can set open and close times with custom content for before or after. No immediate action is required unless you need this functionality now.

Who this affects

HighLevel has not confirmed who specifically is affected. This feature will be relevant for any agency owner or SaaS entrepreneur using Forms, Surveys, or Quizzes in their HighLevel accounts. It allows for more controlled availability of these tools.

What changed

A new 'Schedule visibility' setting is available for Forms, Surveys, and Quizzes. This setting enables users to define specific operational windows for these elements.

Users can now:

  • Configure a precise open time for a Form, Survey, or Quiz.
  • Configure a precise close time for a Form, Survey, or Quiz.
  • Select a specific time zone for these schedules.
  • Set what visitors see before the Form, Survey, or Quiz opens.
  • Set what visitors see after the Form, Survey, or Quiz closes.
  • Choose to display a custom page or redirect visitors to a different URL for both the pre-open and post-close experiences.

The system automatically begins accepting responses at the configured opening time. It also automatically blocks new submissions when the configured closing time is reached. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating for this feature. Rollout status is also unknown.

Where to find it

To access this new functionality, open your existing Form, Survey, or Quiz. Navigate to its settings within the editor. The new 'Schedule visibility' option will be located there.

How agencies will use this

An agency can now run time-sensitive lead generation campaigns directly within HighLevel forms. For example, an agency might offer a limited-time signup for a specific webinar or a discounted service. They would create a Form for the offer. In the Form's settings, they would enable 'Schedule visibility'. They could set the Form to open on Monday at 9 AM EST and close on Friday at 5 PM EST. Before the Form opens, they could display a custom page stating, "Our special offer goes live Monday at 9 AM EST!" After the Form closes, they could redirect visitors to a 'Thank you for your interest, this offer has ended' page or a general services page. This automates the availability of the offer without manual intervention, ensuring leads are captured only within the desired timeframe.

Our take

This is a major update for anyone running time-bound campaigns or requiring precise control over form availability. It removes the need for external tools or manual intervention to manage form access. The ability to customize pre and post-submission experiences adds significant flexibility for agencies. This matters this week if you manage any timed promotions or event registrations.
