HighLevel Shows WhatsApp Limits at Portfolio Level
TL;DR
HighLevel now displays WhatsApp messaging limits at the portfolio level, aligning with Meta's new shared limit model.

TL;DR
HighLevel updated how WhatsApp messaging limits are displayed. They are now shown at the portfolio level in WhatsApp Settings. No action is required, but understanding your limits is critical for WhatsApp usage.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed who is affected. However, any agency owner or SaaS entrepreneur managing WhatsApp messaging through HighLevel for themselves or their clients should be aware of this change. Specifically, those who manage WhatsApp limits across multiple phone numbers within a single portfolio will find this relevant.
What changed
A new panel for messaging limits was added under WhatsApp Settings within a sub-account. This panel shows the true portfolio-level WhatsApp messaging limit. The previous messaging limit column, which was visible in the individual Phone Numbers view, has been removed. A tooltip was added to explain that the limit is shared across the entire portfolio, meaning a single phone number can consume the full quota. The new panel is localized in 13 languages.
HighLevel has not confirmed any changes to limits or plan gating, nor has it confirmed the rollout status for this feature.
Where to find it
This update is found within a sub-account. Navigate to 'WhatsApp Settings' and then look for the new 'Messaging Limits' panel. The specific path is sub-account > WhatsApp Settings > Messaging Limits.
How agencies will use this
Agencies now have a clearer, centralized view of their total WhatsApp messaging capacity. For an agency managing a portfolio of sub-accounts that share a single WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), this means they can see the aggregate limit in one place. For instance, if an agency has three sub-accounts, each with one WhatsApp number linked to the same WABA, they will now see the unified limit in the WhatsApp Settings of any of those sub-accounts, under the 'Messaging Limits' panel. This helps prevent unknowingly hitting limits when one sub-account's high-volume campaigns might consume the quota that other sub-accounts were relying on. An agency can now proactively monitor usage against the portfolio-wide limit and plan campaigns accordingly, rather than reacting to individual number limits that no longer accurately reflect the shared capacity.
Our take
This is a standard update. It provides a more accurate view of WhatsApp messaging limits, which now operate at the portfolio level as per Meta's model. While it’s good to have clarity, it does not introduce new functionality or significantly alter how WhatsApp is used within HighLevel. Agencies need to be aware of the change in display and understand that limits are shared, but it is not a feature that demands immediate action or strategic overhaul. It mostly brings the HighLevel interface in line with Meta's underlying structure for WhatsApp limits.
