Dynamic Dashboards: Custom Values in Widgets and Elements

Custom values now integrate into dashboard widget conditions and elements. This allows for personalized data per sub-account view. No immediate action is required unless you plan to implement this.

Who this affects

This primarily affects dashboard editors. HighLevel has not confirmed who else is affected.

What changed

• Custom values can now be inserted into dashboard/report widget conditions.
• Custom values can now be inserted into dashboard elements (Embed, Title, or Text box).
• Location ID, Name, Email, Phone, Website, Address, City, State, Country, Postal Code, and Timezone fields are available for insertion.
• User ID, Email, Phone, Role, Type, First Name, Last Name, Name, and Full Name fields are available for insertion.
• Previously created custom values from Settings -> Custom values are available, organized by folder.
• Tokens resolve automatically per sub-account when the dashboard is viewed.
• Custom value insertion is available to dashboard editors only.
• If a token has no value set for a location, it resolves as blank in view mode.
• Location and User system fields are available by default.
• Custom values require prior setup under Settings -> Custom values. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits, plan gating, or rollout status.

Where to find it

This is available in Dashboard edit mode. Custom values are configured under Settings -> Custom values.

How agencies will use this

Agencies can build a single dashboard template for all clients. They can use custom values in widget conditions to dynamically filter data. For example, a widget showing 'Revenue' could use a custom value to filter by the client's specific Location ID without needing a separate dashboard for each client.

This is a major update. It reduces the need for multiple client dashboards, streamlining agency operations significantly.
