Who this affects
This update affects agencies using HighLevel's SaaS configurator. Specifically, it impacts how new SaaS sub-accounts are named within the platform. Agency owners managing new client onboarding will find this relevant. HighLevel has not confirmed who else is affected.

How agencies will use this
An agency selling their SaaS offering through a HighLevel funnel will encounter a new client. Previously, the sub-account name was automatically generated, sometimes leading to generic or unclear names in the agency's dashboard. With this update, the agency can configure the SaaS Configurator to pull the client's company name from the funnel checkout page directly into the sub-account name field. Alternatively, if the agency prefers, it can choose to use the individual customer's name provided during the ordering process. This ensures that when the agency logs into its HighLevel agency view, new sub-accounts are immediately identifiable by either the client's company name or the customer's personal name, streamlining client management and reducing the need for manual renaming after onboarding.
Our take
This is a minor update. It provides useful, granular control over sub-account naming for SaaS agencies, improving organization. It does not introduce new core functionality or require immediate action, but it is a quality-of-life improvement for those actively onboarding SaaS clients.
