Automatic Taxes and Billing Address Added to Forms and Surveys
TL;DR
HighLevel now supports automatic tax calculations and separate billing address collection inside Forms and Surveys.

TL;DR
HighLevel added automatic tax calculations and separate billing address fields to the Forms and Surveys builder.
Review your existing order forms if you collect payments and need automated tax calculation or split billing and shipping addresses.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which user tiers or plan levels receive this update.
Agencies and sub-accounts using Forms and Surveys to collect payments and physical shipping information will care about this update. Accounts that do not sell products through forms can safely ignore it.
What changed
- Automatic tax calculations can now be enabled in Forms & Surveys based on customer details collected through the Address element.
- The label on the Address element can now be customized.
- A Billing Address toggle has been added inside the Sell Products element, which is available only when Shipping Address is enabled.
- Billing Address fields automatically mirror whatever fields you configure inside the Address element.
- End users now have a "Same as Shipping Address" checkbox option when filling out forms and surveys.
- HighLevel has not confirmed whether this breaks or replaces previous form configurations, nor have they published specific plan gating or rollout status details.
Where to find it
These options are located directly inside the Forms & Surveys builder.
Inside the builder, inspect the Address element to find custom label settings. To manage billing details, open the Sell Products element settings, enable Shipping Address, and switch on the Billing Address toggle.
How agencies will use this
An agency setting up an order form inside a sub-account can place the Sell Products element alongside the Address element.
Once Shipping Address is turned on in the Sell Products element, the agency turns on the Billing Address toggle and enables automatic tax calculations tied to the Address element.
When a buyer fills out the form, HighLevel calculates taxes based on the entered location, while giving the buyer the choice to check "Same as Shipping Address" or submit separate billing information.
Our take
This is a standard, overdue utility update rather than a major shift.
Handling differing billing and shipping addresses and calculating taxes directly on forms cleans up payment collection for sub-accounts selling goods. If you do not process transactions inside Forms and Surveys, it will have zero impact on your day-to-day operations.
