Ask AI Mobile Adds Shortcuts for Starting Blank Chats
TL;DR
HighLevel mobile apps now include shortcuts to launch a new blank Ask AI chat session directly from the app icon, Quick Actions, or search.

TL;DR
HighLevel added shortcuts to launch a fresh Ask AI chat from your device home screen, Quick Actions, or search. No action is required unless you need to update to mobile version v4.27.0 or newer.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed specific user roles or plan tiers affected by this change. However, visibility of the shortcut is restricted to users and accounts with Ask AI enabled. If Ask AI is not active on your sub-account or user profile, you will not see the option. Users without Ask AI can safely ignore this.
What changed
- Added a "New Ask AI Chat" shortcut accessible by long-pressing the mobile app icon, selecting the Quick Actions card, or searching via universal search.
- Configured the shortcut to launch a blank chat session directly, rather than reopening your previous conversation.
- Set the shortcut to switch to a new session without stacking an extra screen if Ask AI is already open.
- Restricted the shortcut so it only appears for users and accounts where Ask AI is enabled.
- Rolled out the shortcut across HighLevel, LeadConnector, and White Label mobile applications beginning in version v4.27.0.
- Limits, plan gating, and rollout status beyond these points have not been confirmed by HighLevel.
Where to find it
You can access this feature across three primary locations on mobile:
- Mobile App Icon: Long-press the HighLevel, LeadConnector, or White Label app icon on your device's home screen.
- Quick Actions: Tap the Quick Actions card inside the mobile app.
- Search: Access it through universal search inside the app.
Your app must be updated to version v4.27.0 or later to access the shortcut.
How agencies will use this
An agency operator checking a client sub-account from their phone can long-press their White Label mobile app icon on their home screen to trigger a clean Ask AI prompt immediately. Rather than launching the app, opening Ask AI, and clearing an old session, they get an empty chat prompt in one step. If they already have Ask AI running while reviewing account data, triggering the shortcut switches straight to a fresh prompt without stacking windows.
Our take
This is a minor convenience update. It removes a couple of taps when starting an AI query on mobile, but it does not change how Ask AI functions or add any new backend capability. If you or your team use Ask AI inside the mobile app regularly, update to v4.27.0 to get the shortcut. Otherwise, you can move on.
