Ask AI Full Copilot Now Available in WhatsApp
TL;DR
The full Ask AI copilot is now accessible via WhatsApp, enabling CRM, task management, and content creation through text messages.

TL;DR
HighLevel's full Ask AI copilot is now available through WhatsApp. This allows agency owners and their teams to manage CRM tasks, set reminders, and create content directly from WhatsApp messages. No immediate action is required from users.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed who this specifically affects. However, given the nature of the update, any agency owner or SaaS entrepreneur using WhatsApp for communication and looking to integrate AI for CRM management and content generation will likely find this significant. Anyone not using WhatsApp or the Ask AI feature extensively may safely ignore it.
What changed
The full Ask AI copilot is now reachable from WhatsApp. Users can look up contacts, add notes, update fields, or move deals directly from WhatsApp messages. The system also allows users to inquire about their calendar via WhatsApp messages. Agencies can draft blog posts, generate email templates, and generate images, video, and audio assets through WhatsApp. Users can set recurring tasks by text, such as "every Monday at 9am, summarize new leads," and set follow-up reminders by text, for example, "Check on this lead in a few days." Any custom skills taught to the copilot will work identically over WhatsApp. Users can also ask product or account questions mid-task via WhatsApp, which will be routed to Support AI. Each connected WhatsApp number is tied to the person who connected it and remains private. WhatsApp exchanges appear in a dedicated Dispatch tab and in the sidebar, where they are fully searchable, sortable, and paginated. A connected WhatsApp number can be moved to another location or agency with one confirmation. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits, plan gating, or rollout status.
Where to find it
Users will find WhatsApp exchanges appearing in the dedicated Dispatch tab or by navigating to Customize → Dispatch. The Ask AI functionality will be accessible directly within WhatsApp conversations after connection.
How agencies will use this
An agency owner, managing multiple client accounts, can use this to streamline daily operations. For instance, while reviewing client messages in WhatsApp, they might receive a lead inquiry. Instead of switching applications, they can simply type "Ask AI, add John Doe as a new lead, notes: interested in email marketing services, source: WhatsApp" directly into the chat. Later, they could text "Ask AI, set a follow-up reminder for John Doe in 3 days to send a proposal." If a client asks for a quick marketing idea, the agency owner could prompt "Ask AI, draft a blog post outline on '5 Ways Small Businesses Can Use Local SEO' for Client X." The system processes these commands, updating the CRM, setting tasks, or generating content, all without leaving the WhatsApp interface, and all interactions are recorded in the Dispatch tab for review.
Our take
This is a major update. The ability to interact with the full Ask AI copilot directly from WhatsApp significantly enhances workflow efficiency, particularly for those who conduct much of their business communication through the platform. It reduces context switching and brings powerful CRM and content generation capabilities into a widely used messaging app. This matters this week, as it represents a substantial step towards a more integrated and hands-free agency management experience.
