Refreshed User Management Experience
TL;DR
Go HighLevel updated the user management experience across Agency and Sub-accounts, reorganizing My Profile into tabs and redesigning user flows.

TL;DR
HighLevel refreshed the user management and My Profile sections for both Agency and Sub-accounts. This is a UI/UX update and does not require immediate action.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed who is affected. Based on the changes, this likely impacts all agency owners and sub-account users who manage user permissions or update their own profile settings. Agencies utilizing the 'Team' or 'My Staff' sections will see a unified 'Users' label.
What changed
HighLevel implemented a series of UI/UX updates to user management:
- The 'My Profile' section was reorganized into tabs.
- Agency 'My Profile' now features two tabs: General and Security.
- Sub-account 'My Profile' has five tabs: General, Security, Calendars, Conversations, and Notifications. All of these tabs have a refreshed user interface.
- The Notifications tab within sub-accounts now provides channel-wise visibility for settings.
- The labels 'Team' (for Agency settings) and 'My Staff' (for Sub-account settings) have been unified under the single label 'Users'.
- The 'Users' listing screen received a refresh.
- The workflows for creating and editing users were redesigned.
- The 'Roles and permissions' tab in the Edit User flow was reworked to improve clarity.
- Permission modules within the 'Roles and permissions' tab are now navigable via a left-hand panel.
- Scopes within permission modules are presented in collapsed accordions.
- A search function for permission modules was added.
- Sub-account user settings tabs, specifically 'Call and voicemail', 'User availability', 'Calendar configuration', and 'Notification settings', now have a revamped UI.
- HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating, nor the rollout status for this feature.
Where to find it
To enable this refreshed experience, agency owners must first activate it in Agency settings > Labs. Once enabled, the changes will be visible in My Profile sections and the Users management areas across both agency and sub-account levels.
How agencies will use this
An agency owner, managing a growing team, can now navigate user settings more efficiently. For instance, when onboarding a new account manager, the agency owner will access the 'Users' section. When creating or editing the user, they will experience the redesigned flow. Within the 'Roles and permissions' tab, the new left-hand panel makes it easier to jump directly to specific permission modules like 'Funnels' or 'Workflows'. If they need to quickly adjust the new account manager's access to a specific sub-feature within a module, the collapsed accordions for scopes and the new search function will streamline this process. This allows for faster and more precise permission setting, reducing onboarding time for new staff members.
Our take
This is a standard UI/UX update. HighLevel has not confirmed the significance reason, but it's clearly an effort to improve the usability of a core administrative function. It will streamline user management and permission setting, which is a welcome, albeit minor, quality-of-life improvement for agency owners. No immediate action is required beyond enabling it in Labs if you wish to use the updated experience.
