Marketplace App Detail Pages Revamped for Clearer App Evaluation
TL;DR
HighLevel has revamped its App Marketplace app detail pages to provide clearer app evaluation before installation.

TL;DR
HighLevel updated its App Marketplace app detail pages. Key app information is now easier to scan and explore, helping users evaluate apps before installing. No action is required from agency owners or sub-accounts; this is a UI improvement.
Who this affects
This update affects all HighLevel agency owners and sub-account users who browse the App Marketplace. Users evaluating apps for installation will notice the change. HighLevel has not confirmed who is specifically affected beyond general users.
What changed
The App Marketplace app detail pages have been reorganized. Key app decision signals, including rating, install count, target user, install eligibility, white-label support, pricing, version, and developer information, are now upfront and easier to scan.
App information is organized into new sections: Overview, Pricing, Permissions, and Reviews.
Pricing structures now detail monthly and yearly plans, free trials, Agency and Sub-account pricing, multiple pricing tiers, and usage-based charges. Permissions are grouped by capability with clearer scope, including Read and Write access.
Screenshots, videos, descriptions, categories, version information, and developer details are presented in a cleaner format. Ratings, rating distribution, individual reviews, and review sorting are easier to explore in a dedicated section.
Users can now explore Similar Apps and Other Apps from the Same Developer. Install actions and account context are more closely connected to the evaluation experience. HighLevel has not confirmed if this replaces or breaks anything, or if there are limits or plan gating. Rollout status is also not confirmed.
Where to find it
This change is located within the HighLevel App Marketplace. When users navigate to the Marketplace and click on any app to view its details, they will see the new page layout.
How agencies will use this
An agency owner considering a new scheduling app for their client sub-accounts might browse the App Marketplace. Previously, finding all relevant details was often a manual process involving searching multiple sections or external websites. With this revamp, the agency owner can go to the specific app's detail page. They will immediately see the app's overall rating, how many other HighLevel users have installed it, and which user type (e.g., agency, sub-account) it targets. They can quickly navigate to the 'Pricing' section to understand if there are different tiers for agencies versus individual sub-accounts, if a free trial is available, and if usage-based fees apply. The 'Permissions' tab will clearly show what data the app can read or write within the HighLevel platform, which is crucial for data security and compliance. Before committing to an install, the owner can easily view screenshots and videos, read recent reviews, and check the developer's other offerings, all from a single, organized page. This streamlines the due diligence process for adding new tools to their HighLevel ecosystem.
Our take
This is a standard interface update. It improves the user experience within the App Marketplace by making information more accessible. It does not introduce new features or capabilities to the platform itself, nor does it require any action from agency owners or their sub-accounts. This is a minor update that should make app discovery slightly more efficient for those actively looking for new tools.
