HighLevel Forms Now Offer Save Progress Option
TL;DR
HighLevel forms, surveys, and quizzes now include a Save Progress setting, allowing respondents to pause and resume later.

TL;DR
HighLevel has added a 'Save Progress' option for forms, surveys, and quizzes. This is a minor update; no immediate action is required unless you want to enable it for new or existing assets.
Who this affects
Agencies using forms, surveys, or quizzes will find this relevant. Clients filling out forms, surveys, or quizzes will experience the change if enabled. If your agency does not use these features, you can ignore this update.
What changed
A 'Save Progress' setting is now available for forms, surveys, and quizzes within HighLevel. When enabled, respondents can pause their progress midway through. They can then return later and resume exactly where they left off. A resume modal automatically appears for returning users, inheriting the form's branding, including button color, footer color, and label font. Existing forms, surveys, and quizzes will not be affected until this 'Save Progress' toggle is manually enabled for each asset. HighLevel has not confirmed if this replaces or breaks any existing functionality. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating for this feature. HighLevel has not confirmed the rollout status for this feature.
Where to find it
The 'Save Progress' setting can be found within the form, survey, or quiz builder. Navigate to the 'settings tab' for the specific asset to locate and enable this feature.
How agencies will use this
Consider an agency using HighLevel to onboard new clients. Previously, if a new client started a lengthy onboarding survey and had to stop, they would lose all progress and need to restart. With this update, the agency can enable 'Save Progress' on their onboarding survey. If a new client starts the survey, gets interrupted, and closes the browser, when they return to the survey link later, a modal will appear. This modal will prompt them to resume the survey from where they left off, preventing frustration and ensuring higher completion rates for critical onboarding steps.
Our take
This is a standard quality-of-life improvement. It's a minor update that addresses a common pain point for longer forms and surveys. It does not dramatically alter HighLevel's capabilities but will improve user experience for those completing forms. It's not a priority to implement immediately but worth enabling for any form, survey, or quiz that is lengthy or critical for completion.
