HighLevel Adds Calendar View Settings, Staff Colors, and Exports
TL;DR
HighLevel introduced a calendar view settings panel featuring display preferences, staff appointment coloring, and PDF or CSV export options.

TL;DR
HighLevel added a calendar view settings panel with display preferences, staff color-coding, and direct PDF or CSV exports. No immediate setup changes are required, but teams managing internal schedules can adjust their views now.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed specific plan limits or sub-account restrictions for this release. It impacts administrators and team members who view, organize, and export appointment schedules across calendars and services.
What changed
- Added a Calendar view settings panel accessed through the three-dot menu next to Manage view in the calendar toolbar.
- Added view preference toggles, including grid intervals (15, 30, and 60 minutes), shading for non-working hours, hiding empty rows and columns, and displaying buffer times.
- Relocated the "View in timezone" setting into the Calendar view settings panel from its previous locations in Meetings Preferences and Services/Rentals Global Settings.
- Added a Staff colors tab for administrators to configure colors for staff appointments.
- Added the ability to color event tiles by calendar/service or assigned staff member, with the alternate color shown on a widened left strip on the tile.
- Added Export to PDF and Export to CSV options under the three-dot menu to download the current view with active filters and date ranges applied.
- Limits, plan gating, and rollout status have not been confirmed by HighLevel.
Where to find it
Inside any sub-account calendar view, look at the calendar toolbar. Click the more options (⋮) menu next to Manage view, then select Calendar view settings. The Export to PDF and Export to CSV actions are found directly within the same more options menu.
How agencies will use this
An administrator managing multiple team members inside a client sub-account can open the calendar toolbar, access Calendar view settings, and navigate to the Staff colors tab. From there, the admin can assign distinct colors to individual staff members and set event tiles to color by staff, with the calendar or service color remaining visible on the widened left strip. After applying filters to isolate a specific team or date range and hiding empty rows, the agency can click the three-dot menu and select Export to PDF or Export to CSV to hand off a clean schedule report without reformatting data manually.
Our take
This is a standard quality-of-life update rather than a major release. It does not alter booking logic or workflows, but it fixes daily interface annoyances. Moving the timezone toggle directly into the view toolbar, adding visual staff differentiation, and providing basic PDF and CSV exports gives teams practical control over daily scheduling oversight.
