Forms Can Create Opportunities and Companies Without Contacts

TL;DR
Forms can now create opportunities, companies, and custom objects directly without needing a contact record. Review existing form architectures if you want to bypass contact creation for specific intake flows.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed which specific plans or account tiers this applies to. Any agency building intake forms that route directly to pipelines, company records, or custom objects should take note.
What changed
HighLevel updated its form builder to support record creation across CRM objects outside of contacts:
- Forms can create an opportunity record without collecting contact information.
- Forms can create two linked records without a contact: Opportunity + Company, Opportunity + Custom Object, or Company + Custom Object.
- Users can add fields directly from Opportunity, Company, or custom objects into forms.
- Opportunity Name is required on any form containing opportunity fields.
- Form settings allow configuring the pipeline, stage, status, and opportunity value for opportunity submissions.
- Users can select an association label to link two records created by a single form submission.
- Opportunities created via forms are automatically assigned the source FORM.
HighLevel has not confirmed plan gating, rollout status, or whether this breaks existing workflows.
Where to find it
In your sub-account, navigate to Sites > Forms. Open the form builder or form settings to configure CRM fields and association rules.
How agencies will use this
An agency setting up a B2B intake form can now capture business-level deals without collecting individual contact details.
When a user submits the form, HighLevel can generate a Company record and an Opportunity record at the same time, skipping the Contact object entirely.
The agency configures the form settings to route the submission directly into a chosen pipeline, sets the initial stage and opportunity value, and assigns an association label between the Company and the Opportunity.
The resulting opportunity appears in the pipeline with the source set to FORM, linked directly to the newly created company or custom object.
Our take
This is a major architectural shift for HighLevel forms.
Historically, HighLevel has treated the contact record as the foundational anchor for almost every CRM action. Letting forms bypass contacts to create standalone opportunities, companies, or custom objects removes an unnecessary step for B2B models and custom data setups.
It is worth reviewing your current sub-account forms to see where you can eliminate throwaway contact records.
