TL;DR
Users can now enable or disable features across many sub-accounts at once from the Sub-Accounts page. This is a major update for agency operations.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed who is affected by this update.
What changed
Users can now update feature access for many sub-accounts simultaneously. Sub-accounts are selected directly on the Sub-Accounts page. A new 'Update features' option is available. Users can choose which features to change. For each selected feature, users can opt to enable or disable it. Features can be searched by name. Whole groups of features can be selected, and 'Enable all' or 'Disable all' options are present for features. Features can be removed from the list before applying changes. Changes are queued and processed after application. HighLevel has not confirmed the rollout status of this feature. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating associated with this feature.
Where to find it
This feature is located on the Sub-Accounts listing page within HighLevel. Users will find a new 'Update features' option there after selecting multiple sub-accounts.
How agencies will use this
An agency onboarding several new clients can now quickly set up their feature access. For example, if an agency brings on five new SaaS clients who will use the HighLevel platform as a white-labeled product, the agency owner can go to the Sub-Accounts page, select those five new sub-accounts, and use the 'Update features' option. They can then choose to enable or disable specific features, like the 'Reviews' tab or 'Workflows', across all five accounts with a single action, rather than going into each sub-account individually. This process would involve searching for a specific feature like 'Payments', selecting 'Disable' for it, and then confirming the bulk action. The changes will take effect in about 2-5 minutes, and the status of this request can be tracked in the Bulk Actions History.
Our take
This is a major update. The ability to manage features across multiple sub-accounts simultaneously addresses a significant operational friction point for agencies and SaaS companies managing a large number of client accounts. This functionality streamlines onboarding and ongoing account management, reducing the time spent on repetitive tasks. It’s an efficiency gain that many agency owners will appreciate immediately.
