Default Workflow Builder Option for Subaccounts
TL;DR
Agencies can now set a default workflow builder (standard/advanced) for all subaccounts via a new agency setting.

TL;DR
Agencies can now configure a default workflow builder type for all subaccounts. This impacts how new workflows open across your agency.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed who this specifically affects. It appears to be relevant for all agency owners who manage multiple subaccounts and want to standardize workflow creation.
What changed
Agency settings now include a workflow settings page. On this page, agencies can choose the default workflow builder, either standard or advanced, for all subaccounts simultaneously. When this setting is enabled, all newly created workflows across all subaccounts will automatically open in the chosen default builder. The builder setting can also be managed for existing subaccounts individually. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits, plan gating, or rollout status for this feature.
Where to find it
The new option is located in Agency settings > workflow settings page. HighLevel has not published the exact location beyond this path.
How agencies will use this
An agency owner, managing dozens of subaccounts for various clients, wants to ensure all new automations are built using the advanced workflow builder to leverage its full capabilities. They navigate to the new Agency settings > workflow settings page and select 'Advanced' as the default builder. Now, when any of their client's team members or their own staff create a new workflow within any of the subaccounts, the advanced workflow builder will open by default. If a specific client's subaccount later requires the simpler standard builder for some reason, the agency owner can go into that individual subaccount's settings and override the agency-wide default for that single subaccount.
Our take
This is a major update for agencies looking to standardize operations and streamline workflow creation across their client base. It simplifies agency-wide management of builder preferences, preventing new workflows from defaulting to an undesired builder type. The ability to set an agency-wide default, while retaining individual subaccount override, offers both efficiency and flexibility.
