Dashboard Widget Trend Colors Now Configurable

TL;DR

Users can now control dashboard widget trend colors. This update fixes misleading green/red indicators on some metrics.

Who this affects

HighLevel has not confirmed who is affected. Agencies using dashboards with metrics where a decrease is positive, like unsubscribe rates, should review this change.

What changed

  • Users can now control whether an increase or a decrease in a dashboard widget's number stat should be colored positive (green) or negative (red).
  • Metrics like unsubscribe rate, bounce rate, churn, or cost per lead can now show accurate trend colors.
  • The trend badge color setting applies across Number, Line, and Bar chart types.
  • Users can choose 'Increase is positive' (default) or 'Decrease is positive'.
  • Existing widgets default to 'Increase is positive' until updated.
  • HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating.
  • HighLevel has not confirmed the rollout status.

Where to find it

Navigate to dashboards and custom reports. Within a widget's Configure panel, find the setting under Advanced settings.

How agencies will use this

An agency tracking client unsubscribe rates previously saw a rising unsubscribe rate turn green, incorrectly indicating a positive trend. Now, they can configure the widget to show a rising unsubscribe rate as red, accurately signaling a negative trend to the client.

Our take

This is a standard functional update. It improves data visualization accuracy for specific metrics. It does not warrant immediate action unless current dashboard trend colors are causing confusion for you or your clients.
