Bulk Email Associated Contacts from Company & Custom Object Lists

A new 'Send email' bulk action is available within Company and Custom Object list views. This allows direct emailing to associated contacts.

Key changes include:

• The new 'Send email' bulk action is present for Companies and Custom Objects that have Contact associations.
• For Custom Objects, you can select one or more association labels to define who receives the emails.
• Users can specify recipients as the most recently associated contact, the earliest associated contact, or all associated contacts.
• Company and Custom Object fields can be used as merge fields within the email content.
• Emails can be created using Quick Compose, Smart Builder, or an existing template.
• Sending options include immediate delivery, scheduling for later, or using batch mode.
• Delivery and engagement can be tracked via Bulk Actions and within Marketing → Emails → Bulk Action Campaigns.
• Contacts that appear through multiple selected association labels are de-duplicated before the email is sent.

How agencies will use this

An agency working with real estate agents might use a Custom Object to track 'Property Listings', with each listing associated with multiple 'Buyer Contacts' (e.g., primary, secondary, co-signer). To quickly update all contacts associated with a specific property listing about a price change, the agency navigates to the 'Property Listings' Custom Object list view. They select the relevant property listings. Using the new bulk action, they choose to email all associated 'Buyer Contacts'. They can select specific association labels like 'Primary Buyer' and 'Co-signer'. An email template is used, merging in the property address from the Custom Object and the contact's name. This allows a targeted, personalized update to all relevant buyers without needing to manually gather contact lists.
