Social Planner Adds Pinterest Sync for Existing Posts
TL;DR
HighLevel Social Planner now supports syncing existing Pinterest posts and associated data, with daily updates.

TL;DR
Social Planner can now sync existing Pinterest posts, engagement, and reporting. Users must enable this in Labs and connect their Pinterest account.
Who this affects
HighLevel has not confirmed who this affects. It is unknown if this feature is gated by plan level or user role. Agencies managing Pinterest for clients may find this useful. Agencies not using Pinterest or Social Planner can safely ignore this.
What changed
HighLevel's Social Planner can now sync existing Pinterest posts. This includes historical Pinterest pins, engagement data, and reporting, which are now viewable within the Social Planner interface. To use this, users must first enable the feature in Labs. After enabling, they need to connect their Pinterest account and initiate the sync process. Recent pins will be pulled in first. Older pins can be synced, going back up to twelve months, but only when activity is limited. The sync process runs automatically every 24 hours.
Where to find it
Users need to enable this feature in Labs. HighLevel has not published the exact navigation path beyond that, but it is expected to be within the Social Planner section of the platform.
How agencies will use this
An agency managing a client's social media presence, including Pinterest, can now consolidate their reporting efforts. Previously, they might have had to export Pinterest analytics separately and combine them with other social media reports. With this update, once enabled in Labs and connected, the agency can sync a client's Pinterest account to their sub-account. They can then view engagement metrics and reporting for existing Pinterest pins directly alongside other social channels within the Social Planner. This allows for a more centralized overview of a client's social media performance without leaving HighLevel, making it easier to generate comprehensive client reports.
Our take
This is a major update for agencies that actively manage Pinterest for clients. The ability to pull in historical data and consolidate reporting within Social Planner is a practical improvement. However, HighLevel has not confirmed who this affects, nor the rollout status, limits, or plan gating, which limits immediate clarity for agency owners.
