Mobile App Adds Per-Attendee Controls for Class Bookings

TL;DR

Mobile app now allows individual management of class booking attendees directly within the app. Update to HighLevel mobile app version 4.2 or higher to access these new controls.

Who this affects

HighLevel agency owners and SaaS entrepreneurs who manage class bookings, especially those who rely on the mobile app for day-to-day operations. This is for users managing clients or leads scheduled for classes. HighLevel has not confirmed who specifically is affected.

What changed

HighLevel added per-attendee controls for class bookings on its mobile application. Users can now manage each person within a class booking individually. This includes the ability to update an attendee's status, reschedule an attendee, open an attendee's contact record, and cancel an attendee's booking. These actions are all executable without leaving the mobile app. The new controls are available in the Attendees tab of a class booking within the Calendar module. HighLevel mobile app version 4.2 or higher is required to access this functionality. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits, plan gating, or rollout status.

Where to find it

The new controls are located within the HighLevel mobile app. Navigate to the Calendar module, open a specific class booking, and then access the Attendees tab. The individual controls for each attendee will be visible there.

How agencies will use this

An agency owner might be at a client's location, reviewing their calendar on the HighLevel mobile app. They notice a client's upcoming class booking for a yoga studio has a no-show. Previously, they might have had to wait until they were at a desktop to adjust the booking. Now, they can open the class booking on their phone, go to the Attendees tab, select the specific attendee, and update their status to 'No-Show' or even reschedule them for a different class time, all from their phone. This allows for immediate updates without disrupting their current task or location, maintaining accurate attendance records and scheduling in real-time.

Our take

This is a standard, incremental update. It addresses a specific need for mobile convenience in managing class bookings. It simplifies attendee management on the go, making it easier for those who heavily utilize the mobile app for scheduling. This is not a major change that warrants immediate re-evaluation of strategies, but it's a solid improvement for daily operational efficiency for those managing class bookings on mobile.
