Lead Source Report Now Drills Into Opportunities, Shows Value

TL;DR

HighLevel updated the Lead Source Report. You can now click on lead counts to see specific opportunities and view monetary value by status. No immediate action is required from users.

Who this affects

This update affects anyone using the Lead Source Report widget on their HighLevel dashboard. HighLevel has not confirmed who specifically is affected beyond that.

What changed

HighLevel has implemented several changes to the Lead Source Report:

  • Users can click any count under Total leads, Open, Won, Lost, or Abandoned columns. This action will display the specific opportunities that make up that count.
  • The report now shows a monetary value for opportunities in Open, Won, Lost, and Abandoned statuses.
  • The Source filter functionality has been improved, now supporting "Is empty" and "Is not empty" options.
  • Opportunities that do not have a source assigned will now appear as "N/A" in the report.
  • The report display has been refined; rows now maintain a consistent height.
  • Columns in the report are designed to remain readable even on smaller screen sizes.
  • HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating associated with this feature.
  • HighLevel has not confirmed the rollout status for this update.

Where to find it

This updated report is located within the Lead Source Report widget on the HighLevel dashboard. HighLevel has not published the exact navigation path beyond that.

How agencies will use this

An agency owner can now quickly review their dashboard's Lead Source Report. If they see a high number of "Open" leads from a specific source, they can click directly on the "Open" count for that source. This action will open a filtered view of the opportunities, allowing them to instantly see the individual leads and their associated monetary value. For example, if a Facebook Ads campaign shows $5,000 in 'Open' opportunities, clicking that value will show the list of those specific leads, their stage in the pipeline, and individual deal values. This allows for immediate follow-up or deeper analysis into why those leads are not converting.

Our take

This is a standard product update. The ability to drill down into specific opportunities from the report is useful for quickly identifying leads and understanding pipeline value without navigating away. Improved filtering for sources is a minor convenience. HighLevel has not provided details on rollout, plan gating, or who exactly is affected, which limits our ability to gauge broader impact. It's not a major release, but a practical improvement for lead tracking.
