TL;DR
GoHighLevel Workflows now support new triggers and actions for Jotform, including new submissions, signed documents, and creating submissions.

TL;DR
Workflows now include new Jotform triggers and actions. This update expands automation possibilities for Jotform users.
Who this affects
GoHighLevel has not confirmed who this affects. Agencies using Jotform for forms and e-signatures in their client operations may find this useful. Agencies not using Jotform are unaffected.
What changed
- New Workflow Trigger: Jotform New Submission - This trigger starts a workflow when a new response is submitted to a Jotform form.
- New Workflow Trigger: Jotform New Signed Document - This trigger starts a workflow when a document with an e-signature field is completed and signed. This check occurs every 5 minutes.
- New Workflow Action: Jotform Create Submission - This action adds a new submission to any Jotform form, mapping values from the workflow.
- The Jotform connection can be established via the Workflow Builder or Settings > Integrations.
- Supported fields for the 'Create Submission' action include: Full Name, Email, Address, Phone, Short Text, Long Text, Number, Dropdown, Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Yes/No, Star Rating, Scale Rating, Date Picker, and Time.
- Unsupported fields for 'Create Submission' include: File Upload, Signature, Appointment, Payment, Product List, Input Table, Fill in the Blanks, Spinner, Emoji Slider, Image Choice, Captcha, Terms and Conditions, and Checklist.
- Unsupported fields are saved empty, even if marked required in Jotform.
- Submissions created by the 'Create Submission' action carry no payment, amount, product, or booked time slot.
- The 'Create Submission' action cannot write a signature.
- Dates for Jotform use YYYY-MM-DD format.
- Times for Jotform use HH:MM format.
- HighLevel has not confirmed rollout status.
- HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating.
Where to find it
The new Jotform connection options are found within the Workflow Builder when adding triggers or actions. Alternatively, the connection can be established via Settings > Integrations > Jotform.
How agencies will use this
An agency could use the 'Jotform New Submission' trigger to automate client onboarding. When a client submits a new project intake form via Jotform, a workflow could start. This workflow could then send a welcome email, create a contact record, and assign an internal task to an account manager within the sub-account. For instance, a 'Jotform New Submission' trigger tied to a client intake form could populate contact fields and then create a task like 'Review Client Onboarding Form'. Another scenario could use 'Jotform Create Submission' to automatically populate a Jotform application for an internal team member from an internal CRM form completed in GoHighLevel.
Our take
This is a major update for agencies relying on Jotform for client data collection or internal processes. The ability to trigger workflows from new submissions and signed documents, and especially to create submissions from within GoHighLevel, provides significant automation capabilities. The clear documentation on supported and unsupported field types for 'Create Submission' is helpful for planning automations.
