Fixed-Rate Re-Billing for Voice and Conversation AI Now Available
TL;DR
Agencies can now configure fixed-rate re-billing for Conversation AI and Voice AI at the agency or sub-account level.

TL;DR
Agencies can now set flat per-message or per-call charges for Voice and Conversation AI, either across all sub-accounts or individually. This update provides more flexibility for AI service pricing.
Who this affects
This impacts agencies that re-bill clients for Voice AI and Conversation AI usage. It is relevant for agencies looking to offer fixed pricing models rather than percentage markups for these AI services. Agencies managing multiple sub-accounts will find the agency-level settings useful, while sub-account owners can override these as needed.
What changed
HighLevel has introduced fixed-rate re-billing options for Conversation AI and Voice AI. Previously, agencies primarily used percentage markups.
Agencies can now configure a flat per-message charge for Conversation AI. Similarly, a flat per-call charge can be set for Voice AI. These fixed rates can be applied universally across all sub-accounts from the agency settings. Individual sub-accounts have the ability to override the agency-level settings. Furthermore, individual sub-accounts can switch their re-billing preference between percentage markups and these new fixed-rate options.
HighLevel has not confirmed who is affected by this update beyond agencies and their sub-accounts. HighLevel has not confirmed if this replaces or breaks any existing functionality. HighLevel has not confirmed any limits or plan gating associated with this feature. HighLevel has not confirmed the rollout status of this feature.
Where to find it
The new fixed-rate re-billing configurations are located within the "AI Suite" section of "Agency Settings."
How agencies will use this
An agency owner wants to offer a clear, predictable pricing structure for their AI services. They can navigate to the Agency Settings, then the AI Suite. Here, they can set a flat rate of $0.05 per message for Conversation AI and $0.10 per minute for Voice AI. This setting automatically applies to all sub-accounts under their agency. For a specific sub-account with a client who prefers a different arrangement, the agency can navigate to that individual sub-account's settings. Within the sub-account's AI billing configuration, they can then toggle from the agency-level fixed rate to a percentage markup, or set a different fixed rate specific to that sub-account, overriding the default agency setting. This allows for both standardized pricing and client-specific adjustments without manual calculations for each bill.
Our take
This is a standard update that brings more flexibility to how agencies can bill for HighLevel's AI services. For agencies that prefer fixed pricing over percentage markups, this is a welcome change. It doesn't radically alter the platform or introduce major new capabilities, but it addresses a specific need for transparent and predictable client billing. It's a minor but useful refinement.
