AI Image Generation is Now a Workflow Action

TL;DR

AI image generation is now available as a workflow action. No immediate action is required from agency owners.

Who this affects

HighLevel has not confirmed who this affects. It is unknown if this feature is plan-gated or limited to specific users. Agency owners looking to automate image creation for marketing or client assets will find this relevant.

What changed

AI Image Generation is now a workflow action. Within the workflow action, users can select an AI model and write a prompt for image generation. Quality levels for the generated images can also be set directly within the workflow action. Generated images are automatically saved to the media library. Workflows are capable of generating images in bulk. Prompts for image generation can be pulled from external sources. The finished image URL can be sent via the workflow.

Where to find it

This new feature is located within Workflows. Users will find a new action type specifically for AI Image Generation when building or editing a workflow.

How agencies will use this

Agencies can leverage this for various automated content creation tasks. For example, an agency could set up a workflow that triggers after a new client lead fills out a form. The workflow could pull specific details from the form submission to construct a prompt. This prompt would then be used by the AI image generation action to create a personalized header image or a product concept image for that lead, saving it directly to the media library. Subsequently, the workflow could automatically send the URL of this newly generated image in a follow-up email or SMS to the lead, or push it to another system for further use.

Our take

This is a major update. Integrating AI image generation directly into workflows provides new automation opportunities for content creation. While specific use cases and scalability are yet to be fully explored, the ability to automate image asset creation and distribution within HighLevel workflows is a significant step. HighLevel has not confirmed rollout status, limits, or plan gating at this time.
