Agency Workflow Settings: Default Builder for Workflows
TL;DR
Go HighLevel introduced a new Agency Workflow Settings page to set a default workflow builder for all sub-accounts.

TL;DR
Go HighLevel added a new Agency Workflow Settings page. Agencies can now pick a default workflow builder (Standard or Advanced) for new workflows in their sub-accounts.
Who this affects
Agency owners who want to standardize workflow creation across their sub-accounts should review this. This directly affects how new workflows are opened in owned sub-accounts. The facts do not specify any plan level or specific sub-account setup that would make this irrelevant.
What changed
A new Workflow Settings page was added to Agency Settings. This page is specifically for agency-level workflow configuration. The first option on this new page allows agencies to select a default builder for workflows.
Users can choose between Standard or Advanced as their default builder. There is an 'Apply to all sub-accounts' toggle. When this toggle is active, every owned sub-account will open new workflows in the chosen default builder. Sub-accounts created after this setting is applied will inherit the agency's default builder choice at their creation. The default builder section includes both the Standard and Advanced choice and the bulk-apply toggle.
Activating the bulk-apply toggle pushes the selected default builder to all owned sub-accounts. This setting dictates which builder a new workflow will open in. It is important to note that existing workflows will continue to use the builder they were originally constructed with.
HighLevel has not confirmed rollout status, limits, or plan gating for this feature.
Where to find it
This new setting is located in Agency Settings > Workflow Settings. This navigation path points directly to the new configuration page.
How agencies will use this
An agency owner, for example, wants all new workflows across their 50 client sub-accounts to be built using the Advanced Workflow Builder. They navigate to Agency Settings > Workflow Settings. On this new page, they select 'Advanced' as the default builder. Then, they toggle on 'Apply to all sub-accounts'. This action immediately pushes the 'Advanced' default to all existing owned sub-accounts. When a team member or client user in any of those sub-accounts later goes to create a new workflow, it will automatically open in the Advanced Workflow Builder. If the agency creates a new client sub-account next week, that new sub-account will also automatically inherit the 'Advanced' default for its new workflows from day one. Existing workflows previously built in the Standard builder will remain in the Standard builder.
Our take
This is a major update for agencies focused on standardization and efficient sub-account management. The ability to set a default workflow builder at the agency level and push it to all sub-accounts addresses a real operational need. It simplifies the setup for new sub-accounts and ensures consistency in how new automations are built. While HighLevel has not confirmed details on rollout, this is a clear quality-of-life improvement for agency owners managing numerous client accounts.
